A no-frills, no-thrills approach to authentic Vietnamese cuisine at reasonable prices is what this restaurant is about. Just as the food is basic and simple, so is the decor - neat rows of tables and chairs across the floor echo the plain, dark wooden beams on the ceiling. A few must-try dishes are the fried spring rolls (freshly fried and crispy wraps filled with crunchy strips of turnip and carrot and peppery pork bits) and grilled pork balls (succulent rounds of garlicky, herb-flavoured minced pork). Service is prompt and efficient, but could do with a little more warmth.
