The best thing about this coffee shop is the char kuay teow. And it's obvious that this is the main attraction, as most of the diners have a plate of char kuay teow on their table. The kuay teow is fried until it's slightly charred, so it has that bitter but fragrant taste. And the cook uses dark soy sauce to great effect, complementing the slightly charred taste of the kuay teow. This is a quaint old coffee shop that has poor ventilation, so you might not feel like lingering around after your meal.
