There's never a shortage of new Japanese restaurants in the Klang Valley. But how many of them can you go in shorts and slippers, soak in the casual alfresco ambience and enjoy good food and wine. Nestled along Jalan Kiara in Mont Kiara (Souled Out's former location), Somo's concept is based on the izakaya or casual Japanese drinking places where men hang out after work. Somo, which opened for business last December, is in partnership with Daisaku Robata, a Japanese cuisine retail chain and serves a variety of Japanese tapas and main courses.
