Since 1956, this roadside stall has been serving beef noodles, to the delight of many generations of KL-ites. It's so well-established that it has become an accepted landmark in the neighbourhood. Serving lean meat and tripe with different noodles in a tasty light soup, this stall is definitely the focus of the kopi tiam. The place itself deserves some attention, with its tiled walls and round marble tables. The other plus is Tong Kee’s egg tarts - available here too. Other stalls serve wantan noodles, prawn noodles, chicken and duck rice, and pork ball noodles.
