Who has ever heard of a fast food vegetarian outlet? Not until now, as franchise Komala's from Singapore offers a quick alternative to banana leaf rice. They even have value meals. Be it rice, masala, thosai, teh tarik or coke, there is something for the big eater right down to the kids. There's plenty of choice from the a la carte menu, ranging from favourites like thosai to utappam, and all can be had at reasonable fast food prices. The taste is not exceptional, but it's decent enough to win regulars. Taking orders might be slow at meal times.
