Pretty much the best place to stop for a quick meal if you're ever in the area, Hup Soon offers a pretty good variety of affordable hawker fare. It's constantly crowded during lunch time, so you should try to get there before the lunch crowd. The yong tau foo, char kuay teow and nasi goreng come highly recommended. The crowd generally tapers off by dinner time, which is when you can only get Western food and satay. But you can always count on the service to be relatively good.
