You’ll spot this "under-the-tree" food place a mile away, thanks to its giant neon-lit prawn. The prawn noodles here are average and the soup doesn’t pack much of a punch. Nevertheless, Hoo Yee Kee is still worth visiting because you get to choose from a wide variety of meat and seafood dishes which are actually quite good. There are tiger prawns, pork ribs, lala, mussels, fish paste, and lots more. However, try not to sit near the cook because he has an annoying habit of rolling a bowl on the stall, making a loud clanging noise.
