For a unique serving of black pepper chicken or bitter gourd soup with noodles, try this otherwise forgettable kopi tiam, which is a converted corner terrace house. The black pepper seasoning is well balanced, complemented by tender chicken and decent noodles, while the bitter gourd soup is a novelty worth second helpings. There is also a good Seremban siew pau stall, as well as stalls selling mixed rice, pan mee, and the usual kopi tiam fare. The service for drinks is inattentive, and it may take quite some time to get someone to take your order.
