Dim Sum at Ti Ee

The standout in this neighbourhood coffee shop is the very popular dim sum stall, open only after 9.30pm. Run by a husband and wife team, you'll find a small selection of superb home-made dim sum, including staples like char siu pau, lo mai kai (glutinous rice) and other steamed dishes. The siu mai comes highly recommended, and goes especially well with their home-made chilli sauce. There's usually a queue, especially before 10.30pm. The husband can be rather disorganised, so make sure you catch his attention if you want to be served quickly. There's also a tai chow stall here during the evenings, as well as stalls selling satay, lobak and curry mee.
