The Necessary Stage from Singapore will be in town this May to present Good People, their highly-acclaimed play. It focuses on the life, death and the pain in between. So melodramatic, no? But it makes for a good watch as the play has been nominated for awards like Best Production, Best Original Script and Best Director at the Life! Theatre Awards. Set in a hospice, it follows the relationship between Miguel, the new medical director, Yati, a nurse and Radha, a dying patient addicted to marijuana to relieve her pain. Shows on 17 and 18 May start at 3pm.
