The Pirelli DP-SW20 is a small lightweight full-featured Dual-Mode phone that operates VoIP AND GSM simultaneously. In a WiFi hotspot? Make and receive calls using VoIP. On the go? Add a GSM SIM card and you've got cellular service available.
Based on the powerful Windows Mobile operating system, the DP-SW20 offers the convenience of a whole range of applications such as SMS, MMS, Outlook e-mail, Tasks and Calendar management, Internet Explorer Browsing, MSN messaging, Voice Recorder and a numberof utilities offered by the Windows environment.
If you choose to use VoIP ONLY, No SIM Card is Required to make SIP calls or operate the phone's software.
With a SIM card installed, you choose how to make a call. Simply dial the number you wish to call and the phone will make the call as a cellphone. In a connected WiFi area, dial a '#' before the number (eg. #212-555-1212) and the phone will use your active VoIP profile to make the call over WiFi VoIP.
