A Star Is Reborn

If you’re one to hang about after hours, Bangsar’s Telawi Street Bistro (or just TSB for short) shouldn’t be an unfamiliar name. The corner lot establishment is practically an institutional landmark of KL’s original nightlife stretch, and for the past seven years has been a watering hole for pretty much everyone who’s passed by the area.
But nearly a decade can take its toll on even the most beloved of hangouts, so TSB has undergone a makeover to keep itself fresh. The downstairs area is now separated into a non-smoking café and the bistro for smokers. Upstairs is where the major changes are: the bar has been spruced up to cater for a more raucous crowd, and TSB’s new crown jewel, the Star Lounge, holds place of pride in the newly-conceptualised layout as a private space for patrons to fully lay back and relax while soaking in TSB’s ambience.
The Star Lounge and TSB’s new look was given a fete on July 24th, with everyone’s favourite charismatic VJ/DJ Joey G on the decks. For more info, log onto www.gastrodome.com.my/tsb
