After what seemed an age of pushing back opening dates, Euphoria is finally up and running. When the rumours first made known that Euphoria was going to be located in Sunway, many groaned at the distance, but decided it was going to be huge ala the Singaporean MOS. However, instead of housing several themed rooms, Euphoria manages to hold 1,500 guests via three levels and has each day of the week specifically themed. Resident DJs Patrick Oliver, DJ Nesh, Ian Ross and Victor G alternate accordingly. Mondays play mainstream pop, Tuesdays throw you back into the 70s, Wednesdays are all about urban hip hop, Thursdays feature a mix tape of everything and anything, while the weekends focus more on progressive house and trance.
Guests can flank about to lounge at the Deq, hit dance floors in the basement or party on the rooftop. However, they’d probably do so on an empty wallet. The cover charges are high at RM50 on weekends, RM40 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and RM20 from Sunday to Tuesday. While you get a free drink at admission, topping your glasses up will cost a bomb, with RM35 on average for a cocktail, and RM25 per shooter, with a jug of beer at RM69. And don’t forget the travelling costs, now that the petrol price has increased.
On the plus side, it is a non-smoking club, making it much more easier to breathe in. And the toilets were all nice and fancy. Plus, the dance floor vibrates on its own accord.

Yeah, the drinks are really mahal... healthy clubbing, without the alkohol and fags!
I've been there about 3 times. Twice on the weekend and once on the weekday. I must say, for a club with a lot of hype, brand name and popularity, it fails to impress. In in physical appearance, I must say they are great if not the greatest. But it's a club without soul. People there are not friendly. The security act more like a strict policeman. Hello, we pay a lot laa. Why must treat us like a criminal for minor mistake. Just imagine I got harsh warning just because I brought my drink to the dance floor. And when I first went there, I didnt know, u cannot bring your glass around. I visited few more time to see the crowd, and as I said, no soul. Trust me... Sooner or later they will to allow people to smoke or maybe they can close their business.
