Hall of Sounds

What a line up of bands this is: a whopping 28 are scheduled to rock the stage of MCPA this 14 June. Dubbed “The Biggest Art & Music Fest” of 2008, Hall Of Sounds “Let's Rock'In” is organized by CRES Entertainment, Andamedia and Tikus Rock Community. It is also supported by labels that you might know such as Monkeybone, Stereopixels, Gizmo, OKR Combination and Anak Tanjung Security.

It is an art and music festival that wants to represent the youth of Malaysia who crave a change in the artistic landscape of the country. Hall of Sounds represents more than just a festival but a way for all of these youths to express themselves. To give you a taste of what the event has to offer, they have managed to fish in Pop Shuvit, Estranged, Bittersweet, Komplot and Couple just to name the very few. Other acts involved are such as Meet Uncle Hussain, Funky Doryz, Skudap Skudip, Republic Of Brickfields and The Otherside Orchestra. 

All 28 bands will be divided into two halls, one group in MCPA's Grand Hall (Stage A) and the other in the building's first floor (Stage B). The doors open at 1pm and it should be a long party lasting till maybe midnight.

Hall Of Sounds is not entirely about the music. For the young artists who long to show off their artistic side, they will have the opportunity to do so at the Art Booths. There will be about 40 booths available inside the hall for things like artwork, free label clothing and DIY merchandise.
