Ever wonder what happened to Naili's Place in Damansara Uptown? Well, it's still there, just a change of management and a new name. Priding itself as the 'chill out' place for all, TreeHouse does set the mood to relax with its dim ambience, jazzy tunes and a pool table for those who are game. Lets talk about food. With 3 different cuisines to choose from, we must say that the extensive menu is a plus point, especially the Thai menu. Settling for Naili's Burger 'Big Bite' (RM13.90) wasn't a bad choice. It was actually a good one. The patty is thick and is supposedly homemade (so they say), but it is juicy, you can also taste the cheese and the burger is bigger than your average Ramly. To say it's comparable to TGIF and Chili's, that's more of a personal statement. The Khorw Phad Tomyam Kai (RM12.90), which is tomyam fried rice with chicken wrapped in omelette, tasted a little off. Something is not right from the usual Thai fare that it ruins the whole gastronomical experience. So you might as well skip that. TreeHouse really is a nice place to hang out, but lets hope they lower the food price to get the cheapskates coming.
