Loh ngap we think, is much healthier compared to the more favoured roasted duck. If you don't already know, loh ngap is also known as braised duck, where it is simmered in spices, herbs, and brown gravy made up of ingredients of unknown origins. The end result? Thick, flavourful gravy absorbed into the folds of the tender duck meat, making each bite an orgasmic one. And Restaurant Kam Heong manages to do that perfectly. Serving nothing else but loh ngap, the place attracts hordes of people, mostly made up of the working class from the area. You can enjoy the duck either with rice or porridge (RM4), both equally appetizing. If you're looking to order side dishes, we strongly recommend their impossibly juicy mushrooms (RM5) soaked in light gravy to compliment your main dish. We advise that you go early as they tend to run out of duck rather early into the night.
