Sun Wong Review

Monday, 02/06/08 - 12:48PM Filed in Food by julian | Views: 484 | Comments: 0

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, anytime your stomach needs some tender loving care before it growls like a mad lion, there is always Sun Wong. Locating this place in unfamiliar terrority called Jaya One is tricky, so don't be shy to ask the friendly mall-cops. Looks wise, the red and black colour scheme is quite catchy but the furnishing is nothing fancy compared to other restaurants out there. The seats are too straight for the back, that's my complain. Sun Wong has Oriental, Korean and Western chow on their menu, so fussy eaters can stop being fussy. You can give their HK Hainan Chicken Rice set (RM10.80) a go. Pricey yes, but it comes with greens and soup, also 3 types of rice to choose from, yay. Skip the Nissin Noodles (RM6.20) because you might as well go home and cook Maggi mee, non? Cool off the day with M&M and Oreo Milk Shakes (RM6.50). For dessert, the Mango Pearl Snow Mountain (RM5.50)will have you cringing at diabetic thoughts but delectable nonetheless. Being a typical Chinese restaurant, forgive them for the typos and hilarious food names in their menus, like Kind Thick Toast and Crispy Piggy Bun. The food is mediocre but then again, one man's meat is one man's poison, so do try the place out okay!
