Colouring hasn't been this fun since the day splattered oil painting became known as art. Scratch that. Colouring is redefined when you get to engage your nemesis in some serious paintball action. And guess what? The Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit (MPOC) is back for the sixth year, to satisfy your thirst for a rainbow 'massacre' of epic proportions with the League of Champions.

Said to be the fourth most popular extreme sport, it is played by over 12 million people worldwide. In fact, a staggering 67,000 paintball marks are sold every month in the US alone! In Malaysia, the sport is proving popular among Malaysians - there are 40 paintball fields in the country and we have been credited as having the largest paintball scene in Asia!

There are five tournament legs per season that culminate in World Cup Asia 2010, said to be Asia's largest international paintball tournament. and hosted by KL five times. For the 2010 season, MPOC will be open to participants from the Asia Pacific region, with 60 teams expected to participate this year. All five legs will take place at Xtion Paintball Park, Kompleks Sukan Negara, Bukit Jalil, beginning 23 and 24 January. Over RM50,000 in cash and goods will be awarded to winners throughout the season.

Take note of these dates to catch the action!

  • First leg: 23 & 24 January 2010
  • Second leg: 17 & 18 April 2010
  • Third leg: 12 & 13 June 2010
  • Fourth leg: 24 & 25 July 2010
  • Final leg: 2 & 3 October 2010
For more information about the tournament, contact paul@palseries.org or 012 218 4333 and allan@palseries.org or 012 306 2568 or click here.
