Bangkok House
Bangkok House has a clean, straight-forward appeal. The menu is about six pages long, listing typical authentic Thai options, from Pad Thai noodles to Baked Mud-Crabs, with servings rated small, medium and large. To give a general idea of their portion size, a “small” sized serving is adequate for two people.
The food is slightly on the “pricey” side, with the most affordable ala carte meal priced at RM10. But the restaurant also provides set meal options, starting at RM11.90 – RM 17.90 per person. A must-try here is their Pandan Chicken, succulent and fragrant. The Green curry or Kaeng Kheiwan is a little on the sweet side but is pleasant. Most impressive was they cook it up with Chicken, Beef, Prawn or Duck, depending on your preference. Quite delicious also was their Thai lemongrass juice.
You won’t burn your mouth at Bangkok House but you will have plenty of options. A rather nice place to go for a relaxed Thai-themed Sunday lunch.
