Heineken Green Room

Heineken Green Room (HGR) is certainly hellbent on keeping their title of Party Series of the Year (as voted by KLue readers in our Best Of 2009 poll!) by kickstarting their first party of 2010 with a huge bang. This time, the organizers have raised the bar for the upcoming party by booking the famed 2manydjs for an exciting live set, which has been described as "part DJ set and part full on rock star explosion". If you pride yourself on keeping updated with music news, then the moniker 2manydjs will not be strange to you.

Consisting of brothers Stephen and David Dewaele, 2manydjs are also known by their other name, Soulwax.. But regardless their name, more important is that the both were responsible for some of the hottest club bangers in recent memory - some of which like their remix of MGMT's "Kids", Gossip's "Standing in the Way of Control" and Justice's "Phantom Pt. II" are still being played due to popular demand. For their KL debut, their hard-rocking set will be complemented by state-of-the-art visuals blown up on a massive LED screen.

And the visual treats keep coming with the Green Room State of Mind art project. Entitled Flash Forward, it features three photographers - Fiona Lim, Choen Lee and Kelvin Oon - who will seek to show how music influences their creative eye. Their styles are all different - Fiona plans to play with light, Kelvin is going for candid approach, while Choen wants to show rhythm and beats in his works.
