The Other Dimensions

Tuesday, 01/12/09 - 18:34PM Filed in Lifestyle by yangching | Views: 1191 | Comments: 0

It's a wonder how social media and the World Wide Web are taking over conventional means of communication. Dimensions is a sci-fi/supernatural thriller, the first of its kind in Malaysia to be made available on mobile, web and social media sites. The cast of Dimensions were guided by a BAFTA-winning director and her team from London throughout production.

Dubbed as the local adaptation of US hit television series Heroes, the series tells of a mysterious outbreak sweeping KL. The only person who sees a correlation between all the mysterious events is Dr. Lakshmi Arthanayke, played by Dhanya Nambiar. She goes in search of the truth, discovering a group of unique individuals with extraordinary powers.

You will see famous names like Anne James, playing the role of Professor Chandra, and Ben Tan as Bota Liu. Watch the story unfold and see if Lakshmi manages to uncover the truth and save the world.

Dimensions is an 11 episode mobile series created exclusively for 3G and online platforms. It can be viewed on mobile screens by Maxis and Hotlink subscribers, and also viewed on its official website (www.dimensions.com.my) by all.

Pocket money! I used to get only 20sen back in school.
Respect from my parents. I am my own person!
I wish my parents listened to me, instead of keeping to the idea that "children should be seen and not heard"
Attention! My siblings took it away from me. Grrr!
Freedom. My parents never let me go out with my friends.
Brand new clothes, not hand-me-downs that were ill-fitting!
Maturity to impress and annoy the adults with.
Time! Everything happened so quickly and I miss those carefree days.
Toys, gadgets and the latest computer games, because we kids were competitive about things like that.
