Paramount Laksa

Review | Posted on 30 April 2008 by denise

Nestled behind a market in Paramount (Sea Park), this laksa stall would not attract a second glance were it not for its fully occupied tables. Enveloped in unpleasant scents from the market, we ordered the supposedly famous laksa (RM3.80), and truth be told, it left a lot to be desired. The soup was too bland and it just didn't have the essence that made a good bowl of laksa. Most importantly, the fish-based soup was lacking in its main ingredient: fish. On the plus side, it's edible. So if you're in the area, looking for a quick bite, and you don't mind the scent of rotten poultry from the market, then give this stall a try and judge for yourself.
