Take a wild guess the one thing Matt Damon, Tom Hanks, Michale Douglas, Denzel Washington and Kevin Costner have in common. Nothing comes to mind? These Hollywood A-listers appeared in movies donning the Ray-Ban Clubmaster. Wait, Clubmaster what?

For those who don’t already know, the Clubmaster is essentially the sunglasses of the rock ‘n’ roll generation in the 1950s. With Ray-Bans re-issuing the shades that “defined an era”, would it be cool to rock out last season’s Wayfarers? No, because all the cool kids have swapped allegiance from that to the Ray-Ban Clubmaster!

Already sporting the new look are Beyonce, Rachel Bilson, Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson. Like the Wayfarer, the style is unisex. Clubmasters have a thick bold upper frame with metal rimmed below. Besides the original classics, black and tortoiseshell, Clubmaster also comes in red, white, green, blue, beige and brown.

What do you wish you had more of as a child?
Pocket money! I used to get only 20sen back in school.
Respect from my parents. I am my own person!
I wish my parents listened to me, instead of keeping to the idea that "children should be seen and not heard"
Attention! My siblings took it away from me. Grrr!
Freedom. My parents never let me go out with my friends.
Brand new clothes, not hand-me-downs that were ill-fitting!
Maturity to impress and annoy the adults with.
Time! Everything happened so quickly and I miss those carefree days.
Toys, gadgets and the latest computer games, because we kids were competitive about things like that.
I certainly wish I heard less of the phrase, "When I was your age..."
