Malaysia's 20 best and brightest: Shanon Shah, Sonny Liew, Ng Chun Seong, Yuna

Today we shine the lime light on 4 amazing people from KL who  part of KLue's 20 Under 40 list. We see the potential and talent of Malaysians through people like these who just fill us with inspiration and hope:

Shanon Shah (31): A singer-songwriter, writer and activist with an award-winning play to boot

"He is a relentless go-getter and over-achiever – something his dear friends find deeply annoying and something he sunnily does not mind a bit. Shanon seems able to be everywhere at once: he singing in a gig in Ampang, chairing a session at the Sexualiti Merdeka forum at the Annexe, covering a by-election in Penang and working on his next play based on the Kedah legend Merang Meraowongsa. At the moment, he works at the Nutgraph."

Sonny Liew (35): Eisner-nominated comic artist and illustrator

"And he won’t commit to a stand without a bloody solid reason, because he tries to say what he means, always means what he says, and appreciates shades of grey (Cambridge degree in Philosophy, y’all)."

Ng Chun Seong (25): Computer graphics maestro who's making waves in Hollywood

"Today, my fiancé, Chun Seong Ng, is a proud visual effects artist with more than ten feature films to his name, including The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Bedtime Stories, Fast & Furious 4, Wanted, The Incredible Hulk, Meet Dave, Jumper and Aliens vs Predator – Requiem. Whenever I watch a movie in the cinema and cheer when his name comes up in the credits, I remember that determined teenage boy with big dreams."
