UPDATE: Michael Jackson: "This Is It" tickets go on sale in Malaysia 15 October!

We endured through the locomotion of the death of the legendary King of Pop, the postmortem, endless court cases, child custody drama, the funeral and media coverage of almost EVERYTHING. Now let's embrace his work in This Is It, a compilation of never seen before footages. Be prepared to be swept away by MJ's moves, the moon walk, the anti-gravity lean and his passion in perfecting every single step.

Just so you know, tickets sold out like hot cakes worldwide for the first showings of This Is It. In Los Angeles, for example, saw fans lining up in front of the Nokia Theatre 3 days before the tickets went on sale!

Your turn is up, guys. Advance ticket sales in Malaysia will be available from 15 October onwards. The trailer premieres globally on 14 September, while the film will be released on 29 October.

This Is It will only be screened in 2-D digital format at the selected locations: TGV KLCC, TGV Sunway, GSC Mid Valley, GSC 1 Utama, GSC KL Pavilion, Cathay Curve and MBO Spring Kuching. While the normal 35mm format will be shown at TGV JB, TGV 1 Utama, TGV Ipoh, TGV Seremban 2, TGV Kepong, TGV Cheras, TGV Bukit Raja, TGV Bukit Tinggi, GSC Mid Valley, GSC Times Square, GSC Gurney, GSC Tropicana Mall, GSC Queensbay, GSC Sunway Carnival, GSC Dataran Pahlawan, GSC Gardens, GSC Puchong, GSC KK 1 Borneo, GSC Alamanda, Cathay City Square, Genting, MBO Melaka, Growball KK, Mall Brunei and Sri Q-Lap Brunei.

Updates: The huge demand for online tickets has resulted in hundreds of shows reportedly being sold-out within 24 hours of North American Advance Sales commencing on 28 Sept. Other countries that have seen a similar frenzy are London (more than 30,000 tickets sold in first 24-hours); Japan (more than US$1 million generated in ticket sales); and Bangkok (all tickets for first screenings sold out) as well as France, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Belgium and New Zealand.
