Here we go! The next installment from our 20 under 40 from our September issue! Every year, we highlight 20 individuals who have make headlines and spark the next new thing who are all under 40, showing us we are capable of much more than we think. Last week we highlighted 4, and now we proudly present you another list:

Arafah Edruce aka Arabyrd (23): Pocket dynamite, electro/rock/soul sista, gold class performer, climbs everything in sight
"Arabyrd, is all about passion, determination and fascination in life that makes her what she is. Her strong character is reflected in her music, aggressive and progressive! The word ‘no’ does not exist in her vocabulary, knowing what she wants and what it needs to feel good and satisfied with her work."
Written by Boudeng Edruce - Malaysian music industry veteran but more importantly, Arafah's dad.

Dr. Lennard Lee (26): The first Malaysian to swim across the Straits of Gibraltar
"As Lennard’s support Kayaker, I saw at close hand his determination and commitment. This was best exemplified by the hours of hard work he put in after working long shifts as a junior doctor. As one of Lennard’s colleagues and a fellow student at Oxford University, it is clear to me that he is energetic in all areas of life."
Written by Dr. Chris Turnbull – fellow junior doctor and support kayaker for the Round Manhattan Swim.

Ethaya (36): Owner of Cloth & Clef – KL's most active multi-genre gig venue
"Ethaya also mentioned about educating and sharing music through musical exchange from our neighbouring countries with locals. Underground and independent acts from all across the region have organized intimate gigs at Cloth & Clef. It's truly a unique venue that welcomes all and supports all."
Written by Nadia Hamdan, friend and fellow colleague at Cloth & Clef.

Bunkface - Sam (21), Paan (22) & Youk (20) : The new princes of pop-punk
"Today Bunkface continue to propagate their brand of Bunk punk through their own production company and clothing line as they gear up to drop their new album. And then there’s that contagious Fan Fest anthem they did specially for Star Movies, which I’m kinda digging…"
