Wendy's Returns
Posted on 25 April 2008 by denisePerhaps some might still remember Wendy’s presence in the Klang Valley about two decades ago. The third largest burger chain in the world returns for a second crack at the Malaysian market, with its first outlet in Sunway Pyramid. Navigating a new fast food restaurant can be awkward (what do you mean you don’t sell Big Macs?), so here’s a little sample of what the red-haired girl has to offer at its Sunway Pyramid outlet., the first of about 70 nationwide.
Chilli
There’s nothing Mexican about Wendy’s, but then again, that hasn’t stopped this Tex-Mex favourite from being one of the chain’s most popular offerings.
Triple with cheese
Three slices of square, quarter pound beef, in one burger. Don’t be still, my beating heart. It’s a monster.
Frosty
Not quite ice cream and too thick to be a milkshake, this is undoubtedly Wendy’s signature dessert.
Baked potato
OK, baked potato might not be particularly unique, but then again, how many fast food chains do anything with potato besides deep fry them in oil?
