Blogger Highlight: Got X, Got Friends

Have you ever dug through old albums and found a certain picture that floods you with memories from yesteryear? Photos are magic and there are billions of them on the net. Especially with serial bloggers carbon copying their lives online in case we all lose our memories and the only source of the past is the Internet.

Got X, Got Friends has spread like wildfire among the blogging community. We all know the kind of blogs we hate and the kinds we just adore, so we have shortlisted four bloggers, Kate Lee, Ewin, Pam Song, and Joshua Wong. However, the world of blogging is a harsh and merciless one, hence we’ve decided to highlight two as of now:

Joshua Wong works at an IT company and enjoys the same stuff that we love (food, gadgets, photography and tech). Joshua writes about the things that you and I usually go through, which makes his blog very accessible. Not to mention the great use of pictures and graphics. Check it out.

Pam Song should be your destination if you feel blogs should be more of a personal domain. Snippets of her everyday life are updated constantly for your reading pleasure. Little projects of what she’s up to and her dry humour are definite plus points to readers. Head on over to have a look.

You can follow the Got X, Got Friends updates of these two bloggers via their blogs or Twitter accounts.

In case any of you have allowed such an awesome contest to fizzle out in your heads, here’s a reminder of how it works:

The Got X, Got Friends competition invites you to share photos and you could win exciting weekly prizes! Every week, 15 of the most creative photos will win prizes such as an Xbox 360, Blackberry Storm, and a limited edition Celcom Broadband MTV World Stage modem. Furthermore, these photos will be used in future Xpax print ads and communication material! AND weekly winners will then be eligible to win the Grand Prize.

Upload as many photos as you want onto the Got X, Got Friends wall to stand a chance to win prizes via Facebook, MMS, or MeTV. There are four main categories for your entries: Out & About, Love & BFF, Gotcha and Awww!!! Yes, scurry through your abundant albums for photos that would take a miniscule amount of time compared to the bragging you’ll be doing to your friends if you win. Contest runs from 27 July – 8 November 2009.

Check out existing photos and the terms and conditions here.
