Art Attack

With all the hot air about going green lately, Ameirul Azraie Bin Mustadza decided to splash eco-friendly messages across his Art Syndrome T-shirts. Art Syndrome was born in January 2007 as a collaboration between Ameirul and two friends. When his buddies jumped ship, he teamed up with Mohd Firdaus Roslan, a designer and fellow Universiti Teknologi Petronas student.

Along with 15 other tees they produce with designs from music to love, Art Syndrome has three T-shirt designs with barefaced slogans such as, “Save the earth. It's the only planet that has me” and “Save papers, save trees, save the planet”. Art Syndrome plans to donate 3–5% of all its earnings to the PATT foundation (www.plant-a-tree-today.org). “It is important for everyone to contribute to save Mother Nature, especially when climate change has become an issue that concerns everyone,” he says. “One way of doing this is to get as many people as possible to buy and wear these T-shirts so that people will at least notice the importance of saving the planet.”

Prices for an Art Syndrome tee ranges from RM26–35 depending on the design, size, colour and material. Sizes run from XXS all the way to XXL so no one’s left out in the cold. Check ‘em out by logging on to www.art-syndrome.com or www.myspace.com/artsyndrometshirts.
