The wait for Euphoria by Ministry of Sound will soon be over when the club finally opens its doors in late May or the first week of June. Reportedly built in a unique circular form with three levels, Euphoria can accommodate up to 1,500 clubbers. But let’s forget about architecture and focus on what really matters: the music. Making sure Euphoria lives up to its hype is Jerry Francis aka Jungle Jerry, who says Euphoria’s main nights will run from Wednesdays to Saturdays, and each night will have two different themes happening on the Mezzanine floor and The Deq. They’re also importing four MOS-branded nights which are Milkshake (hip hop, Wed), Frisky (vocal house, Wed), Move (progressive trance, Fri) and Smoove (R&B, Fri). Watch out for Thursdays which hosts the most interesting events – Mix Tape, an open format night with resident DJ Patrick Oliver from Miami who will mix different styles together, and Save The Robots which is a night for emerging and experimental sounds. But with Sunway having a reputation for dodgy clubs, will Euphoria have a problem attracting a crowd? Jerry replies, “With MOS behind this, we have standards to live up to and a benchmark to follow. Everything in Euphoria has been thought out properly and given direction, so once people have a taste of this experience, they’ll change their mindset about Sunway and come back for more.” Party on!

gosh, when was the last time a club had any kind of following in Sunway. the days of arena, maybe??

Looking forward to MOS, but in Sunway? Hmm. Perhaps I should try clubbing after an afternoon at Sunway Lagoon...
I just found out this piece of news, Euphoria is gonna be the first club in M'sia to be a NON SMOKING club!
If you need to take a puff, either you go up stair into their little aquarium/smoking room or just go out.
so this is the beginning of the singaporeanization of clubs? how do u guys feel about that?
I think it's good. we don't have to drive long hours to taste a piece of singaporean clubs because it's already here!!! in our KLANG VALLEY!
We have Zouk from Singapore, Euphoria (MoS) from London and Bed from Thailand!
the whole club scene in malaysia is owned by singaporeans anyway. kl nightlife was singaporeanised back in the 80s
2nd July has been confirm as the Public Opening of Euphoria~ however, there is 2 session of Secret Party which is on 27 and 28 of June respectively and special invitation will be send by Euphoria thru the email notification. We shall wait another 2 more weeks and we could step our shoe in the dance floor of Euphoria.

hi farasakura, it is indeed a non-smoking club in most areas, but you can still smoke in their DSA and The Deq. hope that doesn't confuse anyone.

Jida, as explained: it is a non-smoking club but patrons can smoke at DSA and at The Deq. if it is that confusing to ppl, we will change the info bar. cheerio.

Decent venue, high ceiling and smoke-free atmosphere very refreshing. The big dance floor will be very hard to fill on normal nights, when's the first big act?
