Wednesday's Word Up: Chai Anxiety

Chai Anxiety

Bet all you designer coffee fiends know what we're talking about. Some people always order the same thing at their favourite coffee haunts, but others (you've seen the types) stare at the overhead menu board with quizzical looks and mouths agape. Chai anxiety is when you're overcome by all the drink choices, beverage sizes, and questions from the barista asking if you want soy, organic, low-fat, etc.

You know the Trollsen Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley only emerge from their dark dens to sip on some fresh brew. They're so tiny they can barely grasp their Starbucks fat-free whatever, but that doesn't stop them. After they've had their caffeine fix they quickly scurry back into their troll caves.

Bahaha, we tried to find out what the Olsens drink and we came across this, "according to Starbucks Customologist Courtney Holm, Mary-Kate Olsen’s drink of choice at Starbucks is a Tall Sugar Free Vanilla Non-Fat Extra-Ice Blended Latte." Guess they don't suffer from chai anxiety. Now that we know, we can rest easy...

Tell us the name of your favourite drink from any one of those big coffee chains (if you have one).
