Cirque Balagan Extravaganza Preview

Thursday, 24/04/08 - 16:04PM Filed in The Arts by denise | Views: 452 | Comments: 0

Las Vegas is well known as a hub for the uniquely random and wonderfully strange. From the hub of neon-lit casinos and two-minute marriages comes the Cirque Balagan Extravaganza, all set to tickle your fancies with wildly unpredictable and inventive choreography, special effects, costumes and zany characters. Russian for "marketplace circus," Balagan features an international cast of tumblers, clowns, aerialists, acrobats and jugglers, combining original music, choreography, athleticism and comedy to create an awe-inspiring production reminiscent of the days of travelling circuses.†Presented by the Ministry of Tourism and produced by DreamCast Entertainment, Balagan will present an amalgam of the finest gravity-defying acts, circus skits, comedy, surrealism and old-fashioned slapstick to provide wholesome entertainment for your entire family. "Balagan is as aesthetic as it is artistic, with outlandish characters, fanciful creatures, unusual music and skilled performers offering feats of beauty," says Misha Matorin, the show's creator and producer. "People are captivated because they always want something more to happen, and we give it to them. It will be no less outstanding when Balagan is staged in Malaysia. We are looking forward to performing for the very first time for our Malaysian audience." We're sure the feeling is mutual.
