Madurai Sri Meenakshi Mess

Resembling a dining hall, the “mess” dining concept which was popular in India during the colonial era is making an appearance in Kuala Lumpur. Chettinad food is essentially served here at cheaper prices as they mainly cater to the palate of Indian migrant workers. Some of the workers even enter into monthly dining arrangements with the mess. Go for the fried fish with its sweet fresh flesh and the spicy chicken curry. Unlike other places, the Nasi Briyani (available on Wednesday and Sunday) is served with a hard boiled egg and yoghurt coated vegetables.
