Berisi Cafe

Review | Posted on 01 December 2007 by trainee

Operating from two shoplots within the complex, Berisi Cafe serves Soto Berisi, Nasi Lemak, Fried Beehoon and Mee Udang. Said to originate from Sungai Dua located up north in Seberang Perai, the Mee Udang here is served with a sweetish orange-coloured broth made with tomatoes and prawn shells. Although no prawn fritters is served like the traditional version in Sungai Dua, it still tastes pretty good. Their Soto Berisi is also popular with the beef broth served with nasi impit – compressed rice cubes. Deep fried snacks like kerepek are also sold at the small cafe.
