Given how popular buffet-style dining is in the Klang Valley, it’s a surprise the churrascaria concept isn’t a much bigger hit here. After all, it’s all the grilled meats one can eat, carved right on your table. Any more pampering, and they would have to feed each diner. No one enters a churrascaria expecting wagyu beef, nor the finest aged rib eye. But for a fairly reasonable price (RM48 for lunch, RM68 for dinner), one gets all the wonderfully grilled meats one can enjoy. Served with basic condiments like mustard, salsa and mint sauce, the meats are all delightfully smoky in flavour, yet moist and tender on every bite. It’s not just beef, lamb and chicken, however, as chefs holding skewers of butter fish and tiger prawns also make their rounds.
