Fillin' In The Blanks: Ng Khai Lee (Social Entrepreneur and Blue Chili 2007 Winner)

Saturday, 01/09/07 - 16:28PM Filed in Blog by trainee | Views: 373 | Comments: 0

The last CD I bought was ... Hujan's EP 1,2,3 Go? I would describe them as early The Cardigans plus The Strokes in Malay.

The hardest thing I ever did was ... learn mandarin! Six years of primary school caning, and I still seem "banana."

My favourite famous person is ... Cry Bloxsome, but I'm not sure if he's very famous. Google his name, and I think you'll like him too.

The one item I can't live without is ... the Internet! I'd hate to visit a library for information or write letters in paper.

The problem with a G-string is ... that it covers the important bits.

If I was invisible for one day, I would ... do what any young man would do - fight crime!

My favourite thing to do in the shower is ... sing "I'd Do Anything For Love" by Meatloaf.

I wish someone had told me that ... you were going to ask me all these questions.

My favourite super-hero is ... Donatello from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nobody values how smart and useful he is, the poor guy.

For my 50th birthday, I want ... to start my 50th business.

My mum would be shocked to know that I ... used to shoplift 90% of my wardrobe when I was 14.

Love is ... yet another naughty four-letter word.

What do you wish you had more of as a child?
Pocket money! I used to get only 20sen back in school.
Respect from my parents. I am my own person!
I wish my parents listened to me, instead of keeping to the idea that "children should be seen and not heard"
Attention! My siblings took it away from me. Grrr!
Freedom. My parents never let me go out with my friends.
Brand new clothes, not hand-me-downs that were ill-fitting!
Maturity to impress and annoy the adults with.
Time! Everything happened so quickly and I miss those carefree days.
Toys, gadgets and the latest computer games, because we kids were competitive about things like that.
I certainly wish I heard less of the phrase, "When I was your age..."
