We’ve all probably driven up Jalan Maarof, Bangsar countless of times without even noticing Jeumpa D’ramo. A white bungalow situated right after the traffic lights to Jalan Bangkung, Jeumpa D’ramo is a boutique hotel which has been open for business since the middle of last year.
Not your typical concrete-monotone bicycle shop, Bike Boutique is the first concept bicycle store in Malaysia. The shop opened just 4 months ago in Damansara Perdana. Be it for road use, mountain biking, or even for a triathlon, getting the right bike is utterly essential.
Tea and Sympathy is very wonderfully whimsical, pleasantly quirky kitschy. Hidden in a little hobbit hole down Telawi Street lies a shopper’s 7th heaven with renaissance flair and girly girl charm.
After you’re done indulging in duty-free booze and cigarettes, and after visiting all the possible tourist attractions (and ridden the cable car… twice), the island of Langkawi, despite its natural beauty, can become rather humdrum. Purchasing presents are essentially a strangely hard aspect of life, and usually results in settling for an unimaginative gift vouchers in the end. So, instead of gifting a product, how about an experience instead?
